Workshops give visitors the chance to take part, learn something new and meet the people behind an activity. They form part of the wider Play · Learn · Discover approach to the event.

What you will find

Each approved workshop can explain what the activity is, who it is suitable for, age guidance, accessibility, location, capacity, whether booking is needed and anything participants should bring. This makes it easier for families to decide what fits their day.

Before the event

Some activities may also provide simple preparation, printable resources or ideas to try at home. Those resources will remain free to access where the provider and event team have approved them.

Want to run a workshop?

Workshop providers can use the current application route to submit their proposal. Approval, capacity and scheduling are handled operationally so the public website only shows confirmed activities.
