Use the right bin
Use recycling and general-waste points correctly and never leave litter behind.
LOVE THE PARK · LEAVE IT LOVELY
Staying green
Small choices by the event, traders and visitors can help reduce waste and look after the green space we share.
WHAT WE CAN ALL DO
A greener day in the park
The useful principles from the existing Staying Green page are being carried forward for the current event venue, without copying outdated travel information from previous locations.
Travel smarter
Walk, cycle or use public transport where practical. Current event travel guidance belongs in Plan Your Visit.
Reduce single-use items
Choose reusable options where event rules and hygiene requirements allow.
Look after the park
Leave the recreation ground ready for local people, wildlife and the next day.
Smoke responsibly
Never leave cigarette ends on the ground. Use the appropriate disposal point.
Learn through play
Environmental games and activities connect Staying Green with Play · Learn · Discover.
What we currently do
Only verified event measures should be presented here as current commitments.
What visitors can do
Travel thoughtfully, use bins correctly, reduce avoidable waste and respect the park.
What we’re working towards
Future improvements can be published separately so aspirations are never presented as completed environmental achievements.
