Free entry does not mean the event is free to organise. Staging, entertainment, infrastructure, safety, facilities and the many practical parts of a large community event all have costs behind them. Fundraising and sponsorship help Party in the Park remain open to families without an admission charge.

Ways to support the event

Individuals can donate or run their own fundraising challenge. Schools, clubs and community groups can organise activities that bring people together while supporting the event. Businesses can help through sponsorship, fundraising, in-kind support or practical services where an arrangement has been approved by the organisers.

Where support goes

We will only publish specific cost claims or fundraising targets where they are verified. The aim is to show supporters clearly how help contributes to putting on a safe, welcoming and accessible community event.

Fundraise your way

Ideas can range from sponsored challenges and community sales to workplace fundraising and school activities. The fundraising area will provide downloadable resources and recognition for approved supporters without requiring people to understand the administration behind the event.
