Bedworth Carnival belongs to a wider tradition of community celebration in the town. The archive is being built carefully from programmes, newspaper references, photographs and memories rather than relying on a single unsourced origin story. As evidence is verified, this record can connect the early tradition with later Carnival Queens, attendants, floats, bands, routes, fundraising and the volunteers who helped make the procession happen.
